YMD provides training locally to those ministering to young people

Commitment

Many church congregations have a commitment to young people. They long to feel comfortable and confident teaching the Bible effectively to teens, discipling teens and helping teens to engage with the message of the Bible.

training

YMD provides training to equip you to teach the Bible effectively to young people, helping you to be confident in your content and creative in your delivery.

Training can be provided for a single church or for a group of churches. There is huge value in training alongside others as we interact with each other’s experiences and input. When training alongside others there is opportunity for group discussion with those from your own context.

Remember, YMD provides its services free of charge to local churches so that money is never an issue.

“Incredibly helpful in envisioning and developing a gospel-centred youth ministry.”

follow-up

Youth Worker - Co. Meath

Follow-up consultations are also available to discuss the material covered in training sessions, helping you to think through, plan, implement and evaluate your ministry to young people.

Modules

YMD can suggest specific modules or tailor training to your group to explore the purpose of Youth Ministry, to develop a strategy for your Youth Ministry and what that might look like in your local context, including how to engage young people with the Bible in a manner that’s accessible to them.

Following consultation with a YMD Advisor we will recommend training most suited to your situation.
